AI is still incredibly formulaic and predictable in a way that true creatives have far surpassed.įurthermore, even as AI technology continues to advance, there will always be a need for the human component of art and designer. Design and art connect humans to humans, humans to ideas, or humans to products.ĪI may be able to replicate some of the technical aspects of graphic design and art, but it can't replicate the unique perspective and creativity that comes from your human experiences and perspectives. ![]() It’s not just about arranging elements on a page or screen, but about creating something that resonates with people on a deeper, more empathetic level. Graphic design is a creative field that requires human understanding, empathy, and truly creative thinking. Plus, as the graphic design industry has already experienced, despite the implementation for technology, human-centered design and craftsmanship will always be desired. All AI programs still need a human to prompt the generation of these ideas, images and copy. While, yes, AI technology is becoming increasingly advanced and wildly capable, it will never be able to fully replace the human touch needed for artists and graphic designers to create truly compelling work. With image generators like NightCafe, DALL-E 2, and DeepAI as well as copy generators like Chat GPT, Copy.ai, and so much more, it feels like our industry is already completely disrupted!
